The Drawdown - The Point
If you are standing on the east end of the bridge and look to the north, you will see a point of land.
The point is where we were fishing in that first set of pictures with my wife and friends. This next set
of pictures are taken from the point area.
That is part of the Hennepin Island
Hydroelectric Plant.
We'll talk more about the hydroelectric plant later. Now, you can walk down nice paths and over some cute
bridges to get to the point.
I'm going to try to juxtapose pics again. Some of the pics taken during the drawdown won't have a close match from normal times. That is because I wasn't willing to wander into the river during the winter.

This is the view of the SAB from the point. The point is where Kyungsook and my friends were sitting in the first set of pictures. The point used to be reached by some trails through the woods. Now the trails have been improved and there are nice bridges you can use to cross the river.
The next set of pics are of the base of the SAB on the east end. Looking to the north you can see the point.
